Friday last week (9th November) Ryan and I were walking home along 3rd Street in New Westminster. We arrive at Queens Avenue to discover the intersection taped off and at least five New West police cars around the area. At the time we couldn’t really see what happened, bloody clothes were all we could see. Later that afternoon we discovered that the victim had passed away at the hospital.

That evening while Ryan and I were walking our friends dog we saw the police dog handler canvassing the area. It is quite disturbing to think that someone was murdered half a block from home.
